Serving People Who Have Special Needs

About us

Special Forces Ministry is specially designed for people who have moderate to severe disabilities to come and worship, hear the Gospel, and experience the love of Jesus. We minister to children and adults of all ages.

Our staff work one-on-one with our participants during both of our Sunday morning services. Our aim is to provide a loving, safe, and Christ-centered environment for all of our participants, enabling them and their parents/caregivers to attend Sunday services on a regular basis.

Where We Meet

The Special Forces Center is located between the Gym and the Children's Ministry Center. Our sensory-sensitive environment helps participants feel safe and secure while also allowing them to have fun.

During the 10:45am Sunday morning service, we worship with the adults, and after worship head over to the Special Forces Center to continue our activities.

Once a month we have Respite Night, where participants come and enjoy three hours of activities. This event allows parents/caregivers to have a night off from caring for their loved one. Each event is themed and includes fun activities such as science experiments, nature scavenger hunts, worship, and arts & crafts. We meet on the second Saturday of each month from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. (Dates and times are subject to change).

Pre-registration is required for all events. This is to ensure that we can provide the best care for your loved one. Please call ahead to let us know if you’d like to participate.

Do you have a heart for people who have disabilities? Come and be a part of Special Forces Ministry! We have many ministry opportunities for volunteers, either weekly during our Sunday morning programming, or monthly during respite nights or social events. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
